The 4MAT logo was designed with several goals in mind.  Initially it had to convey a "hip" look to appeal to our customers- high school students.  We avoided the use of stodgy old fonts and stale color combinations.  The blazing yellow represents the enlightenment of the information provided and the blue represents the dependability of our "true blue" approach to instruction.

Our goal is financial education or "money management matters most."  Hence the 4 M.  Our winged M shows how the knowledge gained from using the 4MAT site can improve a person's personal freedom by helping them learn to make their money management work for them.

Lastly, the Academic Technologies portion of the name was used to convey the fact that 4MAT is on the forefront of using technology to support academics, not to replace it.
